The Brief

Claire and Mark's mission for Aimably is to create clarity within AWS billing and financial reporting for their customers, and to help them do that we had to become experts within their niche world. While they untangled data into reports, we began untangling our own insights into their business to see how their brand could speak to their expertise.

The Solution

AWS spending + billing data is bogged down with hard-to-decipher datapoints that can feel almost impossible to dissect. When these major data costs become unclear, it becomes difficult to know just exactly where money is going. Aimably knows the situations that these companies are in well, fighting through worry and stress and searching for an expert to help. We knew that we needed to create a brand that balanced both relating to their customer's experience, but also showing just how capable Aimably could be in fixing their problem.

The brand we created both speaks a language of approachability but sophistication. We were able to access approachability through UI illustrations as tools to help understand the product deeper, as well as supporting copy with larger statistics to show Aimably's impact. To maintain legitimacy and an air of sophistication within the brand, we utilized a sleek tech-forward and editorial-inspired type palette that communicates credibility without being cold.

With Claire + Mark's support, we were able to create a brand that business leaders could see themselves (and their AWS spending) in.
